Nyonya Merlin Pillay is a member of our sister association, Peranakan Indian (Chitty Melaka) Association Singapore. She is a self-taught home cook who enjoys experimenting with all types of herbs, sayur sayur from her backyard and rempah in her cooking. She is frequently invited to give cooking demonstrations to community groups and at heritage events.
Participants will enjoy a meal with Nyonya Merlin and taste the dishes featured after the cooking demonstration.
Note that these cooking demonstrations are conducted by our invited chefs on a voluntary basis, with venue sponsored by Rumah Kim Choo
