In this month’s video, I’m joined by Baba Clarence Ling and Baba Alvin Oon. Baba Alvin excitedly shares about the upcoming event that is happening on the 3rd of October 2026.
Peranakan Sayang will be organising the inaugural PERANAKAN FEST 2026 on Saturday, 3rd October at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, Multi-Purpose Hall, Level 7. It will be a day filled with presentations, workshops and demonstrations with the biggest Baba Nyonya festival bazaar; celebrating our Baba Nyonya culture and it is FREE ENTRY for all to enjoy from 11:00am to 6:30pm with a Peranakan Sayang concert at 7:30pm!

We will wrap up the festival that evening with ‘Lagu Lagu Baba Nyonya a Peranakan Sayang concert’ (ticketed S$30) at 7:30pm for everyone to sing, joget and have a jolly good time with Singapore’s favourite cultural-pop group!

Baba Clarence also shared that there will be a sharing by Nyonya Noreen Chan into the game of Cherki this 24th of October on top of a Kimono and Kebaya show that will be happening in Novemeber. More details will be out soon, stay tuned!
