Food Adventures is a special series by TPAS to celebrate Peranakan cuisine. Join Baba Matt in this three-part experience that takes us from the bustling market to engaging heritage talks — and finally, to a lively cooking demo that brings it all together!

During our chat, Baba Matt also shared about his two new cookbooks — Daily Nonya Dishes and More Daily Nonya Dishes — filled with heartwarming stories, humour, and easy heritage recipes for everyday cooking.
Baba Clarence also speaks about Holiday Bersama-Sama which is another hands-on festive workshop for Anak Peranakans and the young at heart! Led by Chef Anup (trained at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris), participants can choose between making decorated sugar cookies, Peranakan kueh, or mush chee-style treats. Enjoy a fun afternoon of bonding, crafts, and light refreshments.
