Dear Nyonyas and Babas,
Merry Christmas! Happy greetings from our new junior member little Nyonya Elba Monforte.
In this month’s video, I am joined by Baba Carlos Monforte and his little Nyonya Elba, as well as my Second Vice President Nyonya Theresa Tan.
Baba Carlos is a volunteer photographer with TPAS for the few years and recently joined TPAS as a new member. He spoke about his connections to Singapore and why he signed his daughter up as a junior member.
Nyonya Theresa just came back from the Bali International Peranakan Festival and would like to encourage all members to join the 34th Baba Nyonya International Convention in Melaka, come Nov 2023. We are expecting the places to be taken up very quickly, do secure your place by making payment via PayNow to UEN S62SS0034J and send a copy of your payment to events@peranakan.org.sg. There will also be two activities coming up for the Anak Peranakans – batik painting for the little ones, and kebaya design for the slightly older junior members.
