Children’s Event: Art Workshop With Artist Gabby Malpas

Due to growing concerns over the spread of the coronavirus, this workshop has been CANCELLED.

Artist Gabby Malpas solo show at Utterly Art LLP will still go on.

Join artist Gabby Malpas at this art workshop where children will learn about decorative motifs and colours favoured by the Peranakans.
Participants will create art based on Gabby’s illustrations and turn them into paper tea light lanterns which they can take home. All art materials will be provided.
In an effort to reduce waste, children are encouraged to bring their personal water bottles.
Note: This workshop is STRICTLY for children only. Due to space constraints, parents will have to drop their children off and return at the end of the event.

Registration fee: $5 for Junior Members / $10 for all others

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gabby Malpas is a Sydney-based New Zealand artist whose intricate watercolours of flora and fauna are delightfully whimsical and full of symbolism.
Gabby’s solo show, “Peranakan Dreams: Chinoiserie Re-imagined” will open on 15 February 2020, 3pm, at UTTERLY ART, 20b Mosque Street, Singapore 059500.
